PROJECT DESCRIPTION
An iPad app that measures holes per inch for fabric quality control from a single photo. It locates the 1-inch aperture from the magnifier's graduations and warps it to a square, so varying distance and tilt don't matter. It is one offline HTML file with Thai, Japanese and English UI. It refuses to show untrusted values and guides a retake; on 50 real photos, 49 were measured and 69% were within ±0.5 of the visual count on both axes.
Highlights
Background & Problem
Visual counting in 0.5 steps plus hand-copying — replaced by a single photo

Shoot, and C / R appear. Batch many photos and export to CSV
Read more →Technical Approach & Architecture
The whole app is one HTML file: no install, no build, no network
Read more →Engineering Highlights: Anchoring on One Inch
Photos with different distance and tilt are warped to the same 1-inch square before counting
Read more →Engineering Highlights: Never Show an Untrusted Number
A reasoned “cannot measure” beats a plausible wrong value

Drag a corner with your finger and it re-measures instantly, with a loupe

Rejected approaches are documented with numbers and reasons
Read more →Outcome & Impact
